Why am I doing this?
My hope is that these survey responses will help other single gay men over 50, who are struggling with isolation and loneliness, know that they are not alone. I realize that asking you to share deeply personal and intimate stories can cause apprehension. I am grateful for your time and willingness to participate in this survey!
What am I going to do with these responses, anyway?
I plan to share my collective findings here on The Confirmed Bachelor website to be used as a resource in an aggregated form. All direct personal identifiers will be removed. So don’t worry, your personal data will never be shared without your consent.
I don’t know if anyone will take the time to respond but, if I have some compelling stories, I may reach out to some of you to be the subject of a ‘spotlight’ article that I’ll feature on the site as inspiration and encouragement to others.
